Bryan raises over £700 to celebrate his 62nd birthday

Bryan Little, a resident of Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society's Cheddle Lodge residential home, with the support of "Team Cheddle" took part in the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run 10K on Sunday 19th May 2019.

Bryan has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and when growing up, he couldn't access mainstream education and could not take part in individual or team sport events - not even a school sports day. Buoyant after his team's 6-0 win the day before, Bryan was proudly sporting his Manchester City blanket on Sunday, when he completed the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run 10K for a 3rd time!

Bryan's efforts have raised over £700, this will be used to replace the TV and sound system at Cheddle Lodge where he has lived for the past thirty years. Bryan loves music (in particular heavy rock), he loves to hear and physically feel the music too. These funds mean that now Bryan's fellow residents can also feel and experience music in the same way with the new TV and sound system.

Bryan and "Team Cheddle" would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported them in the race and helped their fundraising efforts!
