THREE Stockport County players have been awarded for their performances on the field by being named in the National League North team of the season.
They were voted into the side by the clubs for their performances throughout the campaign. The league champions had the most representatives in the team.
Keeper Ben Hinchliffe and centre half Ashley Palmer were joined on the list by attacking midfielder Mark Warburton.
Ben kept 22 clean sheets last season and was one of the club's most consistent performers during the title-winning campaign.
Ashley arrived from Guiseley last summer after a campaign which ended in relegation from the National League, but a year later he has returned to the topflight of non-league football with the Hatters. Ash made 53 appearances for County last season and scored five goals.
A torchbearer for the Hatters' charge to the title, Mark found the net 17 times including two hat-tricks in January that helped him to lift the Player of the Month award.
