Children’s charity, “When You Wish Upon a Star” is excited to announce their first ever Wish Walk which will be held at Bramhall Park, Stockport on Sunday 3rd May 2020!
Celebrating 30 years of granting magical Wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses, the charity is launching this new event across the country to help raise crucial funds to support its work whilst celebrating granting over 18,500 magical Wishes since the charity started back in 1990.
Hosted at the beautiful Bramhall Park, participants will be able to take on the 2.5K or 5K walk admiring the beautiful landscaped grounds, woodland and trails around the park.
Diane Hummerston, Head of Fundraising said “we are thrilled to be launching our brand new participation event at Bramhall Park. The event is open to everyone at all levels with accessible routes and facilities. We hope to have our Wish families joining us on the day along with some of our amazing supporters and volunteers. The walk will provide the ideal family day out with lots of additional activities available in the grounds. Please come along and support us – dogs welcome too!!”
Early Bird Tickets are available at a discounted price for a limited time only, with £8 adult tickets, £4 children’s tickets, and under 5’s free! Each participant will receive a t-shirt and finisher’s medal, with a set amount of sponsorship to be raised in the lead up to the walk.
