A STEPPING Hill Hospital children’s nurse swapped fine care for fine dining as a contestant on top TV show Masterchef.
Panisha Patel showed her skills in the kitchen on BBC’s hit cookery programme, hosted by Greg Wallace and John Torode.
The 28-year-old has worked at the Stockport hospital’s Treehouse children’s unit for the past 18 months, having first qualified as a nurse three years ago.
She really enjoys her job providing care for children, but is passionate about cookery too and was thrilled to get a place on the big cooking contest.
