Stockport Art Guild has just been named as one of the finalists for the UK's Art Club of the Year 2019.
Five of their artists have had work shortlisted and will represent the Guild in a special exhibition at Patchings Art Centre in Nottinghamshire from 12th October to 10th November 2019.
Guild council member Peter David, commented on the news saying: "This year, we celebrate 100-years since our formation, so for us to be a finalist in our centenary year is a very special achievement. We're all keeping our fingers crossed for October, when the overall winning club is chosen."
