Russell Brown, owner of Heaton Moor based property search and report company, X-Press Legal Services Greater Manchester & Cheshire, has been named Franchisee of the year.
The top award was presented to Russell, a Stockport local, at a ceremony which took place at Rookery Hall in Nantwich. Over 100 people gathered at the event, to celebrate the successes of the company and its top franchisees.
X-Press Legal Services delivers over 400,000 specialist property searches and reports each year to conveyancing solicitors. Once a year the network comes together to share their experiences and best practice at the company's national conference. This is followed, in the evening, by a black-tie awards dinner, where those that have produced stand-out results are honoured by their peers.
The awards for excellence were presented to the winners by Dave and Lynne Lister. Russell was acknowledged for working tirelessly in forging links with his local Law Societies, playing an active role and developing close ties with four regional groups. He was described as a true ambassador for his company and the X-Press Legal Services brand.
Of his win, Russell said: "I'm truly delighted to have been named Franchisee of the Year. I have been in business for over 13 years and it has been one of the best decisions I ever made. This may well be a service many people may not be aware of, but it is incredibly important in the property buying process. I now have a team of 6 and I am proud to provide our services to over 25 local legal practices."
