Think Employment see number of learner achieving progression 'double'

An adult training provider have seen a huge spike in the amount of local people they have supported into work and further education in the last 12 months.

Think Employment, who have helped more than 50,000 people to upskill and address personal barriers preventing them from re-joining the workplace, have seen the number learners achieving a positive progression after completing their programmes more than double in the last year.

This excellent news for people in the local community come just before Employability Day on Friday 28th June, which is an opportunity for employment support organisations - such as Think Employment - to shout about their success in supporting people to enter or progress into employment.

Sarah Qazi, Think Employment's Head of Operations, was delighted the spike in positive progressions and the timing of the announcement.

"It is fabulous to see the true impact our training and support is having on the lives of those learners we engage with in helping them to progress with success! The whole team at Think Employment are dedicated and passionate about making a difference and ensuring their interventions with learners have meaning."

In the last year, Think Employment have delivered vocational workshops that provide people with skills, knowledge and qualifications that are proven to help them find work in sectors suffering from recruitment shortages such as Hospitality, Administration, Care, Retail, Warehousing and Customer Service. While the training organisation, who'll be celebrating their 20th year in 2020, also offer numeracy, literacy and digital programmes that help people with their everyday life and in the modern workplace.

To celebrate Employability Day 2019, Think Employment will be hosting an Open Day at their training centre at Victoria House on Wellington Street between 10am and 12:30pm on Friday 28th June. People will be able to pop along to Think Employment and find out more about the excellent work they do everyday.
